32Red Review

They are perhaps more familiar as an online casino provider but 32Red are really taking their sportsbook seriously these days. This side of the business was relaunched in time for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 and since then, the operator’s customer base has grown immensely.

But why is there interest in the sports betting side? They are open to Canadian customers but why you should you sign up beyond that obvious advantage of actually being able to access their services?

Introductory Bonus

As a Canadian, you shouldn’t feel put out when you find out about introductory bonuses. Nobody gets one here, as all the main offers are focused on the casino. They are good deals and are certainly worth checking out but as far as sportsbook promotions are concerned, these are aimed at existing customers in the UK and not at new players.

Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

32Red have been established as an online casino for some time and that has allowed them to build up an impressive list of payment providers. The most important name on the list will be Paypal, and as the world’s biggest eWallet, this will open up a wider customer base.

The other eWallets on the roster are Skrill, Neteller, PaySafe, EcoPay and Entropay but you can also use any of the main debit and credit cards so overall this is an excellent and very comprehensive list.

Once again, it’s not good news as, at the time of writing, the only promo showing on the 32Red sportsbook related to an in-play profit boost for UK and Ireland customers only. This is a difficult issue to reconcile as in the main, the best reason for staying loyal to a bookmaker lies in strong prices across a good set of markets.

That’s certainly the main point for serious Canadian bettors but it would be nice to see some global offers introduced.

Website Accessibility

It’s probably fair to say that 32Red don’t possess a particularly attractive site with some dull grey text blending into a plain white background. That can make it difficult to pick out your betting options but while it may struggle in terms of looks, it is a functional portal with everything appearing where you would expect it to be.

Current sporting events are listed prominently at the front of the home page and the full list of markets is on the left and at the very top of the page. Scroll down to the bottom and you can get updated in regards to payment options and details of 32Red’s licence so it’s a logical, if not particularly attractive looking site.

Customer Service

This is one area where 32Red could really address as, apart from the standard set of frequently asked questions, all help facilities are hidden away. Nothing is prominent, apart from a snail mail address but as a new customer, you will be given additional contact details.

When you access help here, it is quick and effective but it should be much easier to find.

Available Markets

There may be wider sets of markets elsewhere but this list from 32Red covers all the popular options and there are a few niche punts included along the way.

Football, Tennis, Golf, Cricket, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Snooker, American Football, Aussie Rules, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Boxing, Chess, Cycling, Darts, Handball, Horse Racing, Ice Hockey, Motor Sports, Pesapollo, Politics, Surfing, Trotting, UFC & MMA, Volleyball and Winter Sports.

You can also claim some options in the specials markets from time to time so expect some politics and entertainment markets to be declared when the bigger events are coming into view.

32Red sport made a breakthrough when they first started to appear on the major odds comparison sites and this naturally opened up their customer base across the world. Now we could judge exactly where they were with their pricing and to be honest, it’s pretty good.

The operator is particularly strong on football and are often out on their own with the best possible price in any number of side markets while they are good across the board. So, while the initial value of a welcome bonus may be absent, it’s worth sticking around to get good prices in the long term.

In Play Options

There isn’t perhaps the biggest choice of live betting options at 32Red so if this is the main focus of your betting strategy then this may not be the bookie for you. However, if quantity is lacking then there is no issue of the quality of the events in question with the biggest games in the most popular events such as football and tennis being showcased.

Prices are good in these live betting markets too, just as they are for 32Red’s ante post section so it’s a good section overall with lots of positives.

Mobile Betting and App

32Red can be accessed via a dedicated mobile site or by downloading the app from your usual store. It’s quick to load and very logically set out so, if you bet on the go quite frequently, this is a ‘must have’.

The relatively small set of live markets means that this won’t be as popular as the mobile options from some companies but there are no complaints with it – it’s free, fast and effective.

Casino, Poker and Bingo

32Red made their name as one of the best casino providers on the net so naturally, if you are looking to play at the tables or slots then they are worth checking out. It’s easy to link out from the main sports page too with prominent icons at the very top of the website.

For traditional casino users, it has one of the biggest choices around with lots of software providers giving you hundreds of slots plus table games and there is a separate link to a live casino section where poker, baccarat, and roulette can be played in their many forms.

There are separate sections for poker and bingo too so, as a standalone casino provider, 32Red are hard to beat.
