Grosvenor Review

While they have been an established brand in the casino markets for many years, Grosvenor’s Sportsbook is very new on the scene but after going online in 2016, the company is attracting new customers, both from its existing base and beyond.

But why should you consider getting on board with yet another sports betting company? We took a look at the advantages of signing up for a new account.

Grosvenor Bonus

There is a £20.00 bonus available when you sign up here, however, it is a deal for Grosvenor Casino members so you would have had to have visited one of their outlets in the real world in order to qualify. It only needs a £5.00 opening credit so it is quite a generous return on your initial funding but it could be made more widely available.

At the time of writing in January 2021, there were no ongoing promos for existing sportsbook customers.

Sports Markets and Odds

The selection of markets at Grosvenor is a real plus point and the following list contains a set of popular events, combined with some niches that should ultimately appeal to everyone.

Football, Horse Racing, Tennis, Snooker, Darts, Golf, Cricket, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Basketball, American Football, Boxing, UFC & MMA, Aussie Rules Football, Badminton, Bandy, Baseball, Chess, Cycling, Floorball, Greyhounds, Handball, Ice Hockey, Motor Sports, Netball, Pesapallo, Surfing, Trotting, Volleyball, Water Polo, Winter Sports, WWE, Yachting.

So, if you are a serious bettor who likes a good range of sports or if you just like to dip into your favourites every now and again, your needs should be catered for. Grosvenor also have a set of eSports markets along with some picks from entertainment and politics and while they are not yet on any odds comparison sites, prices appear competitive right across this list of markets.

Grosvenor have picked out the major players when it comes to their list of funding and the presence of Paypal will be very good news. This is the world’s biggest provider and as an established casino for many years, the operator was able to bring it across to the sportsbook.

Skrill, Neteller and PaySafeCard are also here, along with all of the major debit and credit cards so there is plenty of choice.

Customer Service

The first choice for customer service options shows a phone number which is free to use in the UK. Obviously that’s not such good news if you’re not based there and players are less likely to phone these days so what else is there?

There is no live chat operator at present but if you scroll down to the very bottom of the homepage there is a link that says ‘need more help’. Initially there is a list of Frequently Asked Questions but there is a contact button which gives you the customer support email address.

It may not be so easy therefore to track down your preferred method but with the exception of live chat, all bases are covered.

It’s not always easy for a casino to cross into the world of sports betting and be an instant hit but there are more positives than downsides here at Grosvenor. The choice of markets is very comprehensive and prices in each are strong and that’s certainly all that serious bettors are really looking for.

The addition of a more accessible welcome offer would be helpful but for now, there are already plenty of good reasons to add Grosvenor Sports to your sign up list.
